In a couple circles I run in, the concept of an elevator speech has come to the forefront lately. If you aren’t familiar with the concept, the idea of an elevator speech is that it’s something you can use to inform someone about something in the space of around 30 seconds or so — that is, something you can tell them in the space of an elevator ride. It’s most commonly used to pitch an idea, product, service, or organization. Today, I thought it might be fun to figure out one for WoW.

Sure, there are more than 10 million people who play the game, but there are even more people who don’t play it and may have little to no idea of what it’s about. So let’s say you meet one of those people, and the topic of your WoW playing comes up. Maybe they say, «Oh, I’ve never heard of that game.
