WoW Insider’s on a Daily Quest to bring you interesting, informative, and entertaining WoW-related links from around the blogosphere.
My first Horde character was a Forsaken — a priest, chosen specifically because I wanted to play an overpowered, easy class, and Forsaken shadow priests were the flavor of the month. But I was utterly enchanted by my little undead priest, her golden glowing eyes peering around when idle, the way she’d swing a staff over her head like she was smacking a rug with a broom, and how she was all knees when she jumped. I still play her, although she has yet to make the trek to 85. But the Forsaken as a whole confuse me. Should I feel bad for these former living residents of Lordaeron, cursed to live on after death and unable to reconnect with their living friends and family? Or should I feel uneasy and a little ill due to Sylvanas’ machinations and obvious plotting to use the plague against the living? I don’t know.
I do know that we’ve got two really interesting posts regarding the Forsaken today, as well as a suggestion for a new dungeon that I can really get behind.
Cynwise’s Field Notes takes an in-depth look at the Forsaken leveling experience from vanilla to Cataclysm.
Priest With A Cause tells us about her experiences with Forsaken leveling and how Sylvanas surprised her.
Orcish Army Knife has an excellent suggestion for a new dungeon in an area that is so, so overdue for a complete rehaul: Stromgarde.
Is there a story out there we ought to link or a blog we should be following? Just leave us a comment, and you may see it here tomorrow! Be sure to check out our WoW Resources Guide for more WoW-related sites.
